Everyone
PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL on the streets these days there has been a
pevert running around recently. Two of my neighbours in the adjacent blocks in the
HOUGANG-PUNGGOL PARK AREA have been attacked. The attacker is believed to be a Male Indian man, possibly a foreign worker from the
Buangkok MRT station condo (the Quartz) construction site. From first-person accounts the attacker is known to
flash the victims then brutally try to drag them into punggol park. The first victim was molested and the second thankfully got away. Formal police reports have been made. The recent spate of molest cases happened in the afternoon in broad daylight so
DO NOT BE COMPLACENT.
If possible go home in groups and carry something to protect yourself with like a penknife and hold it in your hand until you get into the house.
This area is nowhere near ulu so i never expected this.
NO ONE IS SAFE, not even the guys.
Do take care. refrain from void deck hangouts and night ok?
