hi people.camp just finished.i hope everyone who was in the camp enjoyed it.had their fun also.especially the juniors.
day 1:
everyone assemble.had our 'western style' breakfast prepared by ms zu.next was watching videos of our pioneers 'Harvest' performance(SYF) and SYF 2007.ms zu told us about how modern dance started and was build.what the pioneers went through to get this kind of high standard of dance and respect from people in the school.Next was teaching of the 'Harvest' dance to the juniors.they do pick it up really fast.after the dance practice was games time.the 1 st game was 'THE AMAZING RACE', although it was tiring as they had to run around the whole school, up and down the level as they need to go to different blocks and rooms to answer all the answers.but it was fun.its a test to their stamina.*congrats to REGGAE for coming in 1ST(:*came back to needlework room and was lunch time.went out to have our lunch and came back.Stage make-up course was next.juniors do had fun during that session trying on different make-up.different colors for everyone.Next game up was 'Name Train'..naming everyones names in the group.den proceed to 'Whacko'.a blur look was shown on the one(who is supposed to go whacked another person) when people are pointing in different directions and him/herslef was unsure of who is who. 'HARE & FOX' was next.we play at the carpark infront of PE cabin.the person(Fox) supposed to catch the other person(Hare) was busy running. and every other people was pratically sreaming like crazy people even if they are not the one being chased.haha.the last game for the day was 'Behind the Cloth.every participant from each group was 'ERM...ERM ...ERM very loudly to distract each other.Amalyna was extremely shock when she found out Ms Zu was on the one on the other side scaring her.hahas.laughter filled the room.everything was going quite well until around evening time..there was some misunderstanding or unhappiness between us.luckly everything was resolved at the end of camp.dinner continued and shower.At 7.45, 3 of our pioneers, Azhar...Zhi Yi...Yeong Chyun.they did a short dance demo for all of us.they only had around half an hour of time to practice and i'm happy to say, they did a good job(:after that was the 'NIGHT WALK' juniors were blind folded and split into three groups.3 senior per group to ensure during passing through the obstacles nobody had any accident.passing through obstacles and other strange stuffs that were played on them was included.back to needlework room.we started the movie screening.'STEP UP (1)' was the movie screened.although some small groups at the back was having their small conversation,they did not disturb the rest from watching the movie.i think those who watched it did enjoy also.movie anding around 11pm++ some of us was getting ready to sleep.sleeping bags laid nicely.as for those who do not want to sleep yet.went out of the room to avoid disturbing the rest.saw afew cute juniors practicing their dance(Harvest) they had learnt earlier.
day 2:
Rise and Shine(:everyone washed up and got ready.a few seniors lead the juniors for exercise.while other seniors tidy up the room.as rubbish was everywhere and room was very dirty(soil bits.)juniors came back.had our breakfast brought by ms zu(: and Flippers came.they were Muzzamil & Syaiful did some stunts to show us.after that we played games again.the 2 most popular games we played before..'HARE & FOX.....WHACKO!'had tons of fun once more..smiles on all our faces.and during 'HARE & FOX' game.people were once again screaming like maddies when they were not the one being chased.one special thing about this round is....MS ZU JOIN IN THE FUN(:she definetely had her own way of escaping from being caught or from running around.hahas.playing time ended and comes the cleaning duty.we were split into half and went different ways.one group was in-charge if the toilet and the other group was our own needle work room.kept the mattresses back and sweep the floor again.got feedback from the juniors.some of the seniors was quite disappointed to hear that the juniors did not really enjoy the night walk.but we cannot blame others.cause we didnt plan it well.in fact is the whole camp.everything was very last minute.but we were glad that the juniors did had fun during the games.and now its for time to break camp.(:
