A Word of Thanks

"Dear all,I am glad to see u guys having lots of fun in Genting. And i have to say i am very proud of u guys for achieving the Gold with Honors award. To me, the award only brings me happy memories during the day the result were announced. We were jumping and shouting with lots of joy and enthusiasm. The rest and the future will greatly depend on u guys and how bonded you are as a team and a family.7th June will be a day to remember. It's the final Harvest performance. And it's the first time my tears were shed in front of public. During the day itself, there was still problems here and there and i am relieved the final performance was not badly affected by those conflicts. It was only slightly affected as the energy was a little low. But overall, it was still a good performance. I hope those tears show u guys how much this dance means to me.You guys were exceptionally wonderful during the competition itself. I could feel the burning passion in your eyes, your smiles and your big moves. You guys literally burn the stage down. The award solely belongs to my juniors and seniors who are still in North Vista. As for me, i have graduated and the award does not really mean anything to me. As i have told the other pioneers earlier, the most fundamental reason for me to join the Genting trip was because of my empty heart. Sometimes i feel i was selfish not letting the juniors try out the tribe leader role. I feel like i should have let Fadhil carry the role out as planned. This is the New Harvest by North Vista Modern Dancers and only dancers in North Vista have the right to perform on stage in Genting. Special sorry to u guys. One thing that still worries me till now is the conflicts going on in Genting. As a senior, i feel that i am a useless fool, standing there and watching my juniors having arguments one after the other, not able to avoid them. I stand there and see the group divided. Sometimes, i do not know what went wrong. Perhaps, i am an incapable tribe leader.I still remembered the seniors' dream to go overseas and perform. That chance did not come to us; it came to our dearest juniors. so treasure those great moments in Genting guys. I would like to say my deepest thanks to the flippers, Syaiful, Muzzamil and Shahril for creating more colours to the dance. Not to forget our manager, Asyraf, for helping take care of my juniors. Surprisingly, we all became good friends in just 5 days.I would like to express my sincere apologies for troubling Ms Zu as my decision was a rather last minute one. Special thanks to all the seniors and Mr Tan who have supported us. Other than that, Thank You God for making all this happen. Time is so fast. Everything is over. Always remind urself to be humble. Always remind urself that there is always room for improvement. Always remind urself to perform ur very best. And don't forget those who have helped and guided u when ur on top. Cause when ur at the peak, u will fall easily. Dance for passion. Not fame. Never be a traitor of dance. The art and soul of a dance performance can only be a expressed by a great dancer; one who brings justice to it, one who tells the story of it from the heart."-azhar, "dance changed me from a nobody into a somebody"
