Preparations for SYF'07

Hi guys :]As all of us know, there's only 11 more days to go for our SYF. Thus I think it's important to have our preparations done properly.WHAT CAN WE ALL DO?As INDIVIDUAL, do practice the dance at home. Listen to the music and feel the beat. Remember the steps and counting.Look into the mirror everyday. Practice SMILING. this is very important.Those who are being lifted up in the dance, do practice too on locking your muscles and push your shoulder down.Do crunches(correct spelling?) everyday. It'll definitely help in holding our postures up when dancing.I believe well that 'Practice makes perfect.'Take good care of yourself before SYF. Don't fall sick(as I'm already getting sick now).ON THE STAGE- PLEASE DO NOT FEEL SHY.
- REMEMBER TO SMILE WITH CONFIDENCE!!
- DANCE WHOLE-HEARTEDLY.
- ENJOY THE DANCE!! :]
- DANCE WITH ENERGY; CONQUER THE MUSIC!!
- DON'T EVER LOOK DOWN WHEN DANCING.
- DON'T EVER STICK OUT YOUR TONGUE IF YOU DANCED WRONGLY. CONTINUE DANCING AND SMILING.
- IT'S GONNA BE THE TIME WE SHOULD EXPRESS OURSELVES THROUGH OUR DANCE.
TIPS- Remember what had Jacq said? When dancing, think that there's an apple being placed in between our chin and chest.We're gonna look nice if our chest and heads are up.
- Hold our chest up, e.g. running from a place to another.
Since we're putting in our effort and hardwork since January, what's gonna be the use if we don't dance nice and well during SYF? We've went through all the difficulties and scoldings together. So the only result that's gonna show EVERYTHING is to perform well enough in SYF.I hope anyone who's reading this get what I mean and understand it. Take this seriously.Don't let Ms Zu down.
