Will modern dance survive let's say another 2 years?
Will the pioneers still be together or all separated?
Will we fall when Ms Zu leaves school one day?
Will we capture more success in the future?
Will we pay back to what modern dance has given?
These questions are short but profound.
The answer depends on us.
Dance Alumni is on a halt due to some problems.
Chances of creating an independent Dance Alumni is very slim.
It's against the law to set up an Alumni when you're under-21.
Only way is to be a branch of Youth Wing.
But when we're under someone else's control/power.
Our ideas might contradict theirs.
Which means no UCC, or any other Dance-initiated events in the future.
As we go on our separate paths.
It's difficult for us to from an effective alumni management board.
It's difficult for us to meet and discuss.
Difficult to choose the positions which are gonna be held by each of us.
But i aint giving up.
Although being grounded for any forms of dance activities(practices,etc), i aint slowing down.
I am going to contribute to Modern Dance in terms of events organiser/management.
Organising our initiated events such as the annual Dance Camp and UCC 2008.
My experience working closely with Ms Zu in both events has made me a more matured person in that field.
I am also planning to set up a tuition specially for Modern Dancers, teaching Maths (Details out soon).
Modern Dance has given a lot to me.
It's time for me to pay back.
